Funerals
When a person dies it is a difficult time when you will have to make many decisions. We want to help you as much as we can.
Although there may be restrictions due to Coronavirus our ministers are still very much available to take funeral services for anyone in the parish, regardless of whether they or their families have any association with our church.
When restrictions are lifted we would also be glad to offer a memorial service to enable you to make a fuller tribute to your loved one. Below you will find a link through to the website of the Church of England which deals with funerals. It will be updated regularly but if there is anything which seems unclear, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. The Church of England has produced a booklet to help people plan for their own funeral service, but it will also be useful for those planning a funeral for others. You can download your copy here.
To arrange a funeral, please speak to the vicar or call the parish office on 01923 822990 . Please do not make any fixed date for a funeral or cremation before you phone us to make sure the minister is available to take the service. Normally the funeral director will be the person who can make all these arrangements on your behalf.

Many of our church members have walked the difficult road of bereavement and so do feel able to join us in worship at any time: and let us know if you would welcome support from someone who understands what you're going through. You can also find useful information and help from this website:
