Book of Common Prayer

The Book of Common Prayer (BCP) is the permanently authorised order of service for the Church of England, and we hold a range of services for those who prefer its traditional langauge and order.

In general, the following services use the BCP, and these will also be marked as such in the calendar of services:

  • Communion - the 8am Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month
  • Evensong - at 6pm (4pm during the daylight saving months) each Sunday

Last Advent we used the BCP at the 8am Holy Communion every Sunday: and we may have other special services so if you would like to know when they might be, please subscribe to our newsletter.

Holy Trinity Prayer

Holy Trinity, in whose name we worship,
give us such love, that
alone and together, today and every day,
we may reverence the Father,
radiate the presence of the Son,
and live in the power of the Holy Spirit.
