The Book Club (Holy Trinity Reading Group) meets in the Parish Rooms always over tea or coffee and our choice of books so far has caused much lively debate and laughter, depending on the book under discussion. We decide between ourselves the books we would like to read and take it in turns to lead discussion of a book, which then usually takes us on to further debate raised by topics a book may have thrown up. We have registered the Book Club with Oaklands Gate library and so far they have been able to provide us with the required number of books we have requested. We read and discuss a wide genre of books.

The Toddler club meets in the hall on Thursday mornings during term time, providing a clean, safe, fun, educational and friendly environment for pre-school children and their parent or carer. We are inspected by the Pre-School Learning Alliance, who are always very complimentary about our facilities and friendly atmosphere.

The Journeying Together group meets every Wednesday evening at 8 pm in the Parish Rooms (opposite the Church Hall). We are a small, friendly and informal group that meet for an hour and half to explore the Christian faith. We normally follow a published course to give structure to our discussions - currently we are working our way through the Church of England's Pilgrim course with topics including Turning to Christ, The Lord's Prayer, The Commandments, The Beatitudes, The Creeds, The Eurcharist, The Bible, Church and Kingdom.
We welcome anyone who is interested in proceeding towards adult confirmation and invite them to discuss this with either Peter, Ann or one of the Licenced Lay Ministers in the first instance. Adult Confirmation preparation normally takes place as part of the Journeying Together sessions (described above) - we run a 6-8 week course of sessions once a year immediately prior to the Sunday of the Confirmation Service.
